Accessibility Report: The Fillmore

I saw FINNEAS at the Fillmore on Thursday night. Yay! I did a fun thing! I’ve been talking about going to the Fillmore since I got interviewed that time by Mary Lucia when she was still at the Current.

As you may remember, I never know what to expect as far as accessibility in places I haven’t been before, but just want to say, The Fillmore worked great for me!

I sent an email a couple weeks ago requesting accessible seating with an attendant. We parked on the street about a block away. When I got to the Fillmore, we didn’t have to wait in line but were let in where the ramp entrance is. After going through Security and scanning our tickets, an attendant graciously led us up the elevator to the accessible seating in the balcony. The view of the stage and the sound from the balcony was amazing. It was close enough to the stage where I didn’t feel like I was in the way, way back like at the Armory. Anyway, here are some pics – I had an awesome time and can’t wait to catch another show at the Fillmore! Next week back to trying to save the world…
