DONE! (WITH THE FIRST DRAFT)

Time to pop the champagne! Oh, wait, I don’t drink alcohol!

At three minutes before eleven o’clock last night, in a big rush, I finished the first draft of the book I have been working on for the past year. I am going to take a month off before I go back to edit this 96k-word novel. Speaking of taking a month off, I have stuff to do:

  • Excited to see Of Monsters and Men at the Palace in a couple weeks
  • I might surprise my daytime helper and go to some museums and bookstores
  • Read FOOLED, Lexi and Susan Haas’s new book, and
  • Read Coldwire, Chloe Gong’s new book, and
  • Read The Wheel of Time series book 4 by Robert Jordan, and
  • Read some more, and
  • Write a blog or two if anything interesting inspires me, and
  • Maybe work on some trip-planning, and
  • Listen to lots of music!

For those of you who may not know. I read my books using Bookshare.org. Below is a picture from the Bookshare website showing Lexi and Susan Haas’s books ready to read for all of us who have disabilities and read thanks to this awesome resource!
