Almost there

I’m on my last read through of my book before sending it to the beta readers. I have some people handpicked for the first round of reading. I’m nervous about sharing my work. I’m thinking this might be the scary part of being an author – opening yourself up to criticism. Not really like my blog – people will let me know if they like my blog or a post, but I imagine if they don’t, they just don’t read it. My beta readers will need to let me know what they don’t like or if they don’t get what I’m trying to say.

The other thing is I’m going to have to organize the work of the beta readers in ways that work for them and me. Do I want them to edit a Word doc or make comments on a PDF? Lots to figure out.
