2022 goals

Here are my goals for what I think is going to be a big year for me.

About that book I’ve been working on… I am going to finish the horror\SFF (sci-fi and fantasy) book this year. Then, I am going to edit the hell out of this book. I am about 45k words in on that project. I am going to find beta readers who will give me honest feedback when I am well into the editing stage.

I am going to post more often this year. Did I mention that I think it’s going to be a big year?

I have been keeping a secret

I’M MOVING OUT. Yeah. It’s looking like I found an apartment that, although not ideal, is workable. I didn’t want to say anything until I took a look at the place two weeks ago. Until then, we had only seen the floor plan and I really needed to see it in person to make sure it’d be accessible enough for me. Will do a more in-depth analysis post soon of the quest for an affordable, accessible apartment and how I’ve gotten to this point. There’s a lot of room for some policy or legislative work around truly accessible, affordable housing. Remember this post\rant? Apartment Accessibility Report

What more can I say? It’s going to be a busy year! Mid-year elections. My friend Justin Stofferahn is running to be an awesome Minnesota Representative! Policies and legislation related to accessible housing in upcoming Minnesota legislative session. Advocacy for disability rights and issues impacting people with disabilities and impacting me in very real ways as I try to live independently. There’s a lot of stuff that needs fixing!
